How Email Discovery Works

When you click Find Email on a lead, LeadFinder Pro:

1. Visits the company's website
2. Scans for email patterns and contact pages
3. Checks common email formats (first.last@, first@, info@)
4. Cross-references with our data providers
5. Returns the most likely email address

Email Verification

Our SMTP verification process:

1. Checks if the email domain has valid MX records
2. Connects to the mail server
3. Verifies the specific mailbox exists
4. Returns a verified/unverified status

Verification Statuses

• Verified ✅: Email confirmed deliverable
• Unverified ⚠️: Could not confirm — may still work
• Invalid ❌: Email does not exist

Best Practices

• Always verify before sending cold emails
• Verified emails have 95%+ deliverability
• Bulk verify to save time on large lists
• Re-verify emails older than 90 days
